Locale rules - SOLNOER GAARD GOLF COURSE, ENG version, rev. 00, 2024.

White marks / stakes / lines define the boundaries of the course.

Penalty Areas. Rule 17 (B-1)
Red and Yellow penalty areas are defined by red or yellow marks/stakes and/or lines.

Drop zones, (E-1)
If a player's ball is in the penalty area (right side) on holes 6 and 15, including when it is known or virtually certain that it is in that penalty area, even if not found, the player has the following exemptions, each with one penalty stroke Penalty for playing the ball from the wrong place in case of violation of a local rule: General penalty under rule 14.7a.

Ball placement E-3
When a player's ball lies in a part of the area cut to fairway height or shorter, the player may take free relief once by placing the original ball or another ball in and playing it from this relief area:
•             Reference point: The point of the original ball.
•             Size of exemption area measured from the reference point: One club length from the reference point, but with the following limitation:
•             Restrictions on the location of the exemption area:
      • Must not be closer to the hole than the reference point, and
      • Must be in the general area

Under this Local Rule, the player must select a spot to place the ball and use the procedure for returning a ball under Rules 14.2b(2) and 14.2e. But, for the purposes of applying rule 14.2e – the player has only chosen the point where the ball is to be placed when the ball has been dropped and the player has released the ball with the intention that that ball should be in play.

After a ball has been placed and is in play under this Local Rule, if the player then continues under another Rule granting exemption, this Local Rule may be applied again.
